The International MICE & Wedding Forum brought together leaders of the hospitality industry in a 4-day event hosted in the southern Mediterranean’s crown jewel, Antalya, Turkey. The event at Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek consisted of over 300 agencies from 60 nations as well as suppliers from over 50 hotels and airlines.
"Dining at a venue over 1,800 years old"
One of the special evening dinners was held at the Roman theatre in Aspendos which has been preserved remarkably well. The theatre was built in 155 AD by the Greek architect Zenon, a native of the Aspendos city, during the rule of Marcus Aurelius. The Antalya Symphony Orchestra performed a spectacular acoustic concert creating a unique and unforgettable occasion for all guests.
"Reset, Rediscover and Revive Event Destinations"
Necip Fuat Ersoy, the Managing Director of IMWF inspired the audience guests with the underlying theme of the forum - rediscover, reset and revive. The conference also highlighted Antalya as an outstanding setting for destination events.

A keynote speech by Habib Amir, the Global Managing Director of Prestigious Venues focused on “The World’s Best Events” - across luxury event spaces worldwide. Landmark knowledge and learnings were shared on nurturing memorable events and improving standards throughout the premium events sector.

While the event is in its infancy (now in its 3rd year), it has incredible potential and the flexibility to grow.
