Located in the heart of the city, opposite the Vienna State Opera, Hotel Bristol has been an important hub for the Viennese social and business community for over 120 years. Having opened in 1892, the hotel was named after the English city of Bristol and still serves as a living example of Viennese charm and its famed personalised service. Valuable antiques combine with modern comforts to turn the Bristol into an urbane oasis in the middle of historic Vienna. The Hotel Bristol event spaces can be used to host meetings, conferences and networking events of various sizes. There are six rooms and the venue's largest space, The Ballroom, seats up to 180 guests for a gala dinner or grand awards ceremony.
150 rooms and suites at this 5 star hotel provide stylish retreats for an unforgettable stay. The recently re-designed Bristol Suites and the Grand Deluxe Rooms significantly add to the unique charm of this hotel. The Bristol suites and Grand Deluxe rooms have panoramic windows with a breath-taking view of the Vienna State Opera and the famous Ringstraße. The new Bristol Suites, which were constructed in 2012, were designed in luxurious Art Deco style by the renowned designer Pierre Yves Rochon and underline the special character and history of the hotel.
The two recognisable round towers of the hotel are home to accommodation unlike any to be found anywhere else in the world. Those who stay there and enjoy the far-reaching view from the roof terraces before sleeping beneath the hand-painted starry ceiling are unlikely to forget the experience. The famous Prince of Wales Suite offers pure 5-star luxury with its own private living room, library, study and private sauna in an area spanning over 360 m².
From opulence to simplicity - the Bristol Lounge at the hotel offers refined breakfasts, light lunches and exquisite dinners. The lounge is a regular haunt of Viennese and international society. The Bristol Bar at the heart of the hotel offers a stylish retreat in which to relax in.
After significant renovation that completed in 2014, the hotel now enjoys 5 modern, fully equipped rooms for events of 14 to 180 guests. The Art Deco style, emblematic of the hotel, shines through in these comfortable and chic spaces. Delegates and attendees can enjoy this historic address as well as its state-of-the art technological features and resources. The ballroom can be opened up to host larger meetings or seminars, as well as gala dinners and banquets.
Weddings, birthdays or Christmas parties can also be easily hosted at the hotel. Salon Schönbrunn features innovative daylight-simulation technology creating a striking and inspiring atmosphere for both corporate meetings and private events. The Salon Oper with its beautiful view of the State Opera, is the ideal location for a high calibre meeting or AGM of up to 14 delegates. With its own dedicated catering team, your meeting or conference is a guaranteed success at the Bristol.
