Review

The Buddha Bar Hotel event spaces offer the perfect setting for the finest celebrations. Located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the Buddha Bar Hotel Paris has some of the biggest names in French and international fashion as its neighbours. Whatever type of event you are hosting, the Buddha Bar Hotel event spaces would be an excellent choice. Events frequently held here include business meetings, product launches and private dinners. In addition, the venue also hosts a variety of corporate events including receptions, press conferences, photo shoots and fashion shows.

The Buddha Bar Hotel Paris is well known for its contemporary fine dining restaurant Le Vraymonde. Beneath its glimmering red lights, Le Vraymonde offers an innovative dining experience. Comprised of a series of five lounges, it evokes the heart of Imperial China. Large circular mirrors and lacquered ceilings gleam lustrously and are highlighted by exquisitely delicate light fittings. The setting is evocative of the Orient and ideally suited to a variety of high-end events.

Most notable of the venue's spaces is the beautiful outdoor courtyard. This luxurious outdoor terrace is accessible throughout the year and makes a unique event space in central Paris. It offers the perfect setting beneath large crimson parasols surrounded by a carefully tended miniature garden.

The rejuvenating experience offered by the Buddha Bar Hotel event spaces extends to its wellness area and spa. The line of products used in B/Attitude draws inspiration from Moroccan hammam rituals and traditional Ayurvedic medicine. In addition, the studio has two treatment rooms and a superb hammam with tiled mosaics in gold and amethyst.

There are 56 bedrooms and 19 suites, that perfectly embody French luxury and elegance. Each of the bedrooms and suites at Buddha Bar Hotel Paris offers a sensation of calm and invite a feeling of complete serenity. The bedrooms are designed around three key themes, quietude, travel and refinement. The quietude rooms are situated around the courtyard, possessing a soft and intimate atmosphere. The travel rooms use materials, fabrics and colours reminiscent of the décor of Asia. Finally, the refinement bedrooms feature parquet floors, fine Egyptian cotton and glass to create a distinctive feel of exclusivity.

The ‘Neo-Asian’ spirit, unique design, culinary approach and the famous musical signature make this venue an unforgettable experience. The prevailing atmosphere is one of oriental distinction mixed with the finest French hospitality.

History

Born in 1996 the world famous Buddha Bar came from the never-ending imagination of its founders. These were French-Romanian restaurateur Raymond Vișan and DJ and interior designer Claude Challe.

The original property dates to the 18th century where a historic mansion was once located in the same spot. Its main restaurant used to be used to house the former stables of the townhouse that once belonged to Augustin Blondel de Gagny. Gagny was a French ‘connoisseur’ of arts and a collector for King Louis XV.
