It was a great day of golf, grand prizes, excellent company, gourmet food and drinks - the Prestigious Venues Golf Day 2019 was hosted in support of The Zen Wealth Charitable Foundation at Burhill Golf Club on the 9th of August 2019. Burhill is a prestigious members club with a rich history, breathtaking setting and 2 championship golf courses - host to Europro Tour and The Open Qualifying Series.
The Putting Green
Catching up with old friends and meeting new ones continued outside the clubhouse, on the putting green.
The Game
The forecast showed lightning and thunder but it all cleared away and some very welcome moments of sunshine returned just in time for the start of the game. The outstanding greens and fairways at Burhill were enjoyed by all, while the heather and bunkers on the Old Course at Burhill challenged players of all abilities.
Prize Giving Lunch
Following the round of golf, guests returned to the club house for a gourmet lunch enjoyed by all, a charity auction raising in excess of £4,500 and prize giving to the well deserved winners.
